The game, part of the leagues Stadium Series initiative, will take place at the home of the Colorado Rockies on Feb. 27, 2016. It will be the first-ever outdoor event involving the Avalanche, who will be in their 20th season in Colorado since the franchise relocated from Quebec. On Thursday, Marquette was able to hold off a tough Georgia Tech team and prevail, 72-70. These two teams have some history, with this representing the 55th all-time meeting.
